The Story

Aemilia is a perfectionist painter paralyzed by her own high standards. Her world is upended when her roommate, Samantha, the epitome of rom-com leads unexpectedly sublets her room to Brandon, a "publish-everything" hip-hop producer.

Initial friction over artistic philosophies soon gives way to a creative romance; Art feels as tangible as sex, Aemilia shows Brandon the power of refinement, and Brandon’s encouragement helps Aemilia finally share her work, landing her a prestigious gallery show.
 

However, when Samantha returns, Aemilia’s lingering shame causes her to hide the relationship, driving a dejected Brandon to move out. Only after Brandon leaves does Aemilia realize the void he left behind.

An accidental reunion allows them to reconcile, with Aemilia acknowledging Brandon's impact on her growth, and encouraging him to keep pursuing his music. Together, they find a way to balance the pursuit of perfection with the courage to be seen leaving the audience wondering if they'll get back together or stay forever art friends.
